Today's episode was a lot better then the normal crap we've had to put up with but it was by no way spectacular. Does anyone understand why Ruby's nice but dumb act was suddenly replaced with a rather comical nasty but dumb routine tonight? Daft cow! What a rather dull way to leave.
And this Ben business is so boring and predictable. He really has to be the world's worst child actor.
I also note all the slightly more interesting storylines are about to conclude in the next few weeks, does this mean we have to wait until Easter before we get at least one half-decent storyline again... maybe Ian running Ben over in his Chip Van.... just a thought!.

Yes, Ben is quite possibly the WORST actor ever. He's so girly and feable, how on earth did they cast him? Talking about child actors though, the new Stephen (is it Stephen Ian's other son) is very good indeed, as is his on screen sister Lucy.

You mean Peter? Unless they have recast Stephen. Does anyone know if their is plans to bring Steven back he must be at least 16 now?

And 16 would be a good age for him to return to the square.

I noticed that too. In fact I think the whole script for this rather lacklustre episode was flawed. Once again the scriptwriters had a chance to make this a must see episode and once again they have ballsed it up. This should have been a Tony Jordan episode.
And as for the continuity.... Ian in the sunshine, Jane in the rain. Appalling all round.
AND THAT B*STARD BEN.... GRR!

I assumed that Martin heard the voice of probably the best actor in the show - Pauline's dog - I seem to recall he was barking at the flames and I heard him bark when the camera was on Martin.

Yeah, he heard Betty bark so immediately knew that Pauline was in there.
