What a Bloody great week
I knew all the spoliers so i thought ok i won't like it this much but it was greatly acted by all!
Johnny didn't want to hand himself in, but Ruby is the only person he actually cares about and he didn't want to lose her,Even Ruby who i didn't like before she left had some acting skills somewhere in thoses months!
I think it was done very well, emotional blackmail very convincing and kept you on the edge of your seat.I'm Glad johnny could come back in years to come

Fabulous week! Cool

Edit-I never knew about the video of the death,What a twist!

With all due respect, I don't think you can talk about acting skills after you labelled Ben an amazing actor (which he simply isn't). But I agree with everything else you said.

Ruined for me by the fact that it seemed to be the scene as showed on TV, encoded on a moblie phone screen. The perfect cut from crowd to Sharon didn't wash!

Yeah, how unrealistic? I know the zoom on camera phones are good these days, but that was a perfect picture. Doesn't add up. Rolling Eyes

i'd like to know how jake knew ruby was on her own after jonny had been arrested, he was in the woods when that happened

nice touch that he knew his responsibilties and didn't leave her alone.

I thought the video of Sharon screaming just after Dennis had died was quite disturbing yet very dramatic - that was the moment Johnny realised that he had to hand himself in. For a split second, when the second shot went and Phil closed his eyes I thought we were in for a major twist and Grant was dead but obviously did not turn that way... Everyone acted superb and it was a fantastic climax. I think we will now see Jake coming apart. Does anybody know if he is due to leave the Square?

ENDERS LUCY
2 April 2006
Newly-wed set for soap return

COULD life get any sweeter for ex East - Ender star Lucy Benjamin?

The blonde actress, 35, who married oil trader Richard Taggart at a fairytale wedding earlier this week, has turned over a new leaf, following her drug shame. And I hear Lucy - who played downtrodden Lisa Fowler in the BBC1 soap - is in secret talks to return back to Albert Square.

Bosses are keen to bring back Lucy who was last seen trying to run off with Phil Mitchell's baby, Louise.

My spy tells me: "Nothing has been signed on the dotted line yet, so Lucy's only told a few pals as she doesn't want it jinxed."

Although officially East-Enders deny a return, Radar can reveal that she'll return penniless to the Square. Her ex-lover Phil Mitchell promises to bail her out - on condition she stays in Walford for good.

Lucy's real life fell apart when her real-life affair with co-star Steve McFadden ended. Lucy admitted snorting cocaine off her dining room table through £20 notes. She tumbled again when her affair with teenage acrobat Bobby Hanton ended because he didn't want to marry her.

Noooooooooo! Can't stand the woman, all she does is cry and overact! Can't they bring back Michelle and Grunt's unknown son instead? That would be much more interesting. Very Happy

Yes I'd hate her to return, the overacting and running mascara and terrible drunk acting would get me down so bad. Also Banks, it's a gossip collumn in the Daily Mirror. I'm sure many people find it a respectable paper, but if Eastenders deny it and a 'spy' is the only one to know, I'm not so convinced.

EASTENDERS Nasty Nick Cotton is being killed off – finally!

Long-suffering mum Dot will rush to his side after he’s diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Dot, played by June Brown, will nurse Nick in the summer.

But actor John Altman is NOT coming back as the plot will unfold off screen. John was in the show from its launch in 1985 until 1993.

He returned for a few episodes in 1998 and a spin-off drama in 2000.

Over the years Nick proved he was rotten to the core. He was a racist bully, heroin addict and pimp.

The thug stole from “Ma” and even tried to kill her.

An insider said: “People are always asking what is going to happen to Nick. Now we are putting an end to his evil. Dot is devastated and leaves Albert Square to care for Nick in his last days.”

The plot to kill Nick off has been devised to give June time to take a much-needed break.

His demise comes after another off-screen death when Kathy Beale, played by Gillian Taylforth, died in a car crash in South Africa.

I think EastEnders really are trying to get rid of the Gangsta look,Turning Phil into a family man with Grant,Johnny leaving
