Getting back to EastEnders, I was saying I find Stacy's Mum (can't remember her name) annoying. She shouts too much. I keep thinking she's gone for good, and I hate it when she returns.
Good old depressing 'Enders. You'd think for a legendary character's funeral they would have a nice happy ending where they actually celebrated her life.

Except she happened to be the most hated on screen character? Pauline Fowler, the Growler? Nice happy ending? Celebrating her life? No. Most viewers will be happy for this type of stoyline I think, it's what viewers probably think she deserves.

She's had a hard life - I've always sympathised with the character, even when some of her actions have been slightly irrational. I just don't think it does justice to the character or actress that she'll be getting a funeral like that. Not to mention it sounds so OTT.
Shock as Dot collapses. Fear as Ian pushes a cop. Tears as Martin is arrested. I can imagine the Inside Soap article now.
