Oh no i wouldn't dismiss that,Nor would i dissmiss the fact that EastEnders was the highest rated show on Chrismas day 2005 the day most people watch tv.

Yet ratings usually aren't as high as the rest of the year, thus not allowing EastEnders to have the most watched episode last year. Is that because families watch TV together at Christmas, and BARB only counts the set, rather than the individual person? Anyway...

The point i'm trying to make is,I think people have more chance of showing what shows they like with voting shows like Nta and soap magazines as everyone has a chance to vote.Unlike with the ratings.

But not everybody will vote though. Like I said, EastEnders viewers are more likely to vote, therefore EastEnders usually always wins these kind of awards - so no, I don't agree it's a fair representation of a soaps popularity, ratings have been, and always will be the only way to truly determine a soaps popularity.

Ratings doesn't count for everyone watching tv though does it? I know that sounds like sour grapes but aslong as EastEnders keep up the good storylines i'm not fussed.

EastEnders and Good Storylines.... *spits* Jesus, these grapes our sour!

If EastEnders ever does manage to create a good storyline will you explode into dust like those men in Torchwood?

Well certainly not tonight. The only thing worth mentioning was Pat sitting alone in the kitchen. Legendary character - Pam is wasted on that show.

Meat and two veg. Oh Pats, more sexual than Stacey Slater

All the scenes with Aubrey/Yolande/Patrick & Pat were good It was a funny episode because of this lot and of course Sean with Ruby Laughing Sean's facial expressions were just classic. Highlight of the night.

Well at least that character did something worth watching. He shut that Ruby up.

Quite enjoyed tonight's offering, simply because Ruby wasn't in it.

Now, where have I seen the actor who plays Aubery before? I swear it was a US sitcom. Any ideas?
