I thoroughly enjoyed Coronation Street and Emmerdale, but EastEnders was very, very poor.

Looks like Enders is going to get its arse whipped again tomorrow as it's up against another double and equally as dull episodes of Emmerdale. Just proves how poor the show is getting as ITV are only propping up their schedule by sticking two normal episodes or Emmerdale back to back. Last time this happen, EastEnders scrapped in with 4.5 million. Dire!

Not true. The last time EastEnders was up against an uneventful episode of Emmerdale, EastEnders beat Emmerdale during the 30 minutes they clashed.

What the poster said was true though. You're just referring to another episode which was apparently uneventful. The last time they went head to head, not that long ago actually, EE didn't fare well, and after last night's dire episode, I wouldn't surprised if most viewers decided to stay away tonight.

This could be the most boring head to head for ages,As all soaps we're dire lastnight Sad

Hilarious episode.

Ian was just brilliant stealing the car and it was even funnier with Phil laying in the back Laughing

SJ really is a bitch and i really feel sorry for poor Minty (I'm glad this ends soon)

Just quoting the figures from Broadcast!

It's happening next week as well, no Emmerdale on Sunday for some reason, two episodes stuck together on Tuesday. No doubt to bolster the truely dire Trinny & Tranny!

Doesn't seem to have worked too well this week. Trinny and Susannah got 4.1 million. Still beaten by Holby, which had 6.2 million. Emmerdale did beat EastEnders again, but only by 100,000 viewers when they were head-to-head.

EE - 6.5 million (31% share).
Emmerdale - (7:30-8pm) 6.6 million.

I agree that's last night's Emmerdale was pretty dull considered they had a few good storylines in there but just failed to execute them properly - that's the hazard you run with when you try to make too many episodes in a short space of time.

I didn't realise there was another "double" tonight, but I hopr it's better than last night.
