IMO a drowning is much more distressing that a shooting. Shoootings are common in soaps now, and are pretty quick and we know what is going to happen. But to see somebody being slowly, slowly dying, struggling against the force, is extremely upsetting to watch.

I agree. If she dies, then that was a very graphic murder for 8pm.
Totally agree, was there a need to show it so graphically?

What was the storyline with Yolande, Patrick about last week? They started dancing randomly after Patrick being upset? Why was he upset? Those two characters are going nowhere as well IMO.
A friend of his is terminally ill.

Honestly, it pains me to see such a great actress so criminally underused. The awful Deano gets more screen time than her.

I think Enders main problem at the moment is that a lot of the cast (especially the kids) are a complete waste of space and are so bloody irritating! Who gives a damn about Chelsea & Squiggle, Phil's pig ugly kid, Ian's annoying brats or Jim's grim grandchildren? Some of the adults aren't much better, "Keef", Minty, Gary, SJ, Gus, Charlie & Bloody Fat Mo are all dull, irritating and pointless characters that are clearly going nowhere. Even Ian is getting on my tits.

This is now the problem. They've thrown so many rubbish storylines at this soap a lot of the characters have now become a waste of space. "Oh lets throw some professional actors in like Una Stubbs or Michael Caine in that'll sort it out....stuff it..Better still bring back the lovely Letitia Deano." - Oh I'm losing the plot talking about it!
