It's a full time commitment is Downs and if Enders is going to continue with this storyline then they need to keep it consistent and real. Not sure ' Enders can convincingly pull this off.

That's what my friend said to me too, I can see Honey rejecting the baby.

I can see Billy rejecting the baby to be honest. His is a weak character. As divvy as Honey is her characters strength should lay in her maternal instincts.

I'l watch the omnibus on Sunday to see how it pans out.

Oh i hope they don't shy away from something like this,They have always been the best soap at storylines like this.

EastEnders has been shortlisted for a Mental Health Media Award for tackling mental health issues sensitively with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and mum Jean's storyline.
Holby City and Silver Street have also been nominated in the soaps and continual drama category.
The Mental Health Media Awards will be held on 10th October.

It may be hearsay but I've just read that:

Honey's baby dies of cot death at Christmas!
Shocked

I wouldn't suddenly assume that. We've had all that rubbish before - remember Little Mo was supposed to smother her baby? Did that happen?
I think EE tackled tonight's epsiode perfectly and it was certainly very moving.

Full marks to EastEnders this evening for a very moving episode.

Hoepfully the up and coming storylines including
Honey's down-syndrome baby
will spice it up more

Spice it up? You disgust me.

I agree with those who said it was very moving. I thought the scene with Pat and Billy was very nice indeed. I hope we see more of Pat in the future - I'm just glad that the writers didn't forget how close Pat and Billy are.

If I had to describe tonight's 'sode it has to be haunting. I found it distressing to watch at parts, and it was ever so appropriate for Eastenders to, as a rarity, include world affairs. Amazing parallels between what happened on 9/11 and the two men's own tragedies were made in an extremely creative and moving way. I particularly liked the way the train started again, and it was a resumption of normal life, just like thousands of people attempted to the following days after 9/11. The ending was certainly what made the 'sode haunting, as she now, possibly, is in denial about the birth of her daughter.

Surprised Was that really a half an hour episode? I liked the episode and loved the way they involved 9/11 into it ,but the train chat let them down because they never took small cuts into the square,Although this is normally what Eastenders do best they really should have cut that scene down

Disagree entirely. Cutting to the square even more would have totally ruined any of the emotions that FINALLY they got right for a change.

I found it awkward. Tonight's episode was like a sitcom trying to do drama - with regards to the train scene. Nice idea but so far fetched.

It reminded me slightly of the My Family Christmas special a couple of years back.
