Don't worry, it was diabolical. Extremely cheesy and melodramatic (especially the end with Dot and Jim). What really made me want to shoot myself in the muth was when Mickey ''accidentally'' got sprayed too much with a spray-on-tan machine. Excuse me, whoever wrote this episode, but they need to stop watching Friends as the programme is starting to bear striking traits of the wooden American sitcom.

They keep throwing in new faces to try and keep ratings up.. I read,
yet another
new cast member is joining in the shape of Sophie Thompson.
From Digital Spy...
Playground? She's got that right.

Of her new role, the actress said: "Joining EastEnders is a bit like being welcomed into a really special playground that you never thought you had the chance to play in and you are rather in awe of all the kids but very excited."

The casting in Eastenders has been top notch since Kate harwood joined, apart from a few Sj i see no point in and Naomi.
Lee Ross has been truly awesome since he arrived

The casting has been shameful! If it was good, then they wouyld have axed Leticia Dean, who is probabaly going to return some time in the very near future, for a few months followed by a hyped-up exit only for her to return half a year later. Here are a few characters that I consider absolutely terrible (not only the actors) :
Max Branning
Tanya Branning
Branning girls
Chelsea (who talks verrryyy sloooww with her mouth wide open)
Grant Mitchell's return
That Brazilian woman!!! WHAT HAPPENED THERE??
SJ-pointless
Naomi- her character is fading as she has no real storylines now that Sonia has gone.
Gary- The Men Behaving Badly act has been spun out way too long now. Time to go methinks.
Ruby- time to go. The shoulders and sheepish looks to the left are the only things that stop me from labelling her wooden.
Jake- Another character that I don't see the point in. Now his storylines with Jonny Allan/ Chrissie Watts are behind him, he's got nothing... He's just a Jeremy Kyle look/talk-alike.
'Keef' Miller- his character just gets under everybody's skin.

I feel sorry for the likes of Wendy Richard, June Brown, Cliff Parisi, Pam St Clement and Steve McFadden. Fantastic actors - yet given such desperate, awful and rushed storylines. I suppose Adam Woodyatt could fit that list but then again he's always fitted in anywhere so gets away with it....just.

Yeh what's with that? Why does he get every storyline?

All of the brannings
I'd say kevin has been the best new comer for me .Can't say it comes as a surprise that you two like next to noone though

I didnt say I didn't "like" any of them. What I'm basically saying is, the scriptwriting is poor and flooding the show with new cast is not helping.
Banks, you really are an idiot sometimes. I fail to believe that you don't think the same as us. It seems to me you just want a war and quite frankly its childish and pathetic.
