Oh dear, Enders down to below 4 million....

It was a choice between the sad and boring lives of those in the Square or the bad acting and crap storylines of Emmerdale.

At least the latter is slightly more comedic!

It's the same with Itvplay ,seems to watch it everynight but then hates it

I can't see this harming EastEnders tbh, i haven't seen friday nights ratings yet but i bet they are back on track again. The Fact that the big papers are sticking up for Eastenders says it all

What? Saying that, I haven't watched it at all this week.

And as for ITV Play, yes I do watch it for late night entertainment but I would never phone up... do you people not READ what I write? Rolling Eyes

Its time for EastEnders to go IMHO...Pauline Fowler is leaving and the new characters just are not working. Its had its day...the show would completely fall to pieces if Barbara Windsor, June Brown, Adam Woodyatt, Steve McFadden or Pam St Clement left as well.

Too many big characters have left - Chrissie, Sam, Zoe, Kat, Alfie, Nana, Dennis, Sharon, Den (again!), Johnny, Mark, Vicki. Not to forget that Sonia and Martin will be out soon too.

I think the storylines are just boring, theres nowhere near as much drama as there used to be and I get the feeling they are running out of ideas. The return of Den and the Mitchells I suspect was not as successful as the beeb had hoped.

Paulines leaving - - the ideal way to bring EE to an end!!
