Do you Prefer Grant as a bully or a nice man?

Does anyone know when the shortlist for the soapawards come out?

Edit-Its saturday

GO AWAY BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR 300TH POST. TROLL.

And the hardly believable Grant/Jane Mo/Oliver love mess continues. Dull IMO. I enjoyed the collumnists this week echoeing what we feel here, that too much of the soap focuses on the children who are the poorest of actors.

So true. Tonight, yet another *climax* consisting of a conversation left unsaid.

I can understand (the at times barely mentally competant) little Mo struggling to say what is on her mind, but now her would-be lover, the articulate and intelligent Doctor fails to tell Mo what he feels. Is it some sort of bug you catch in Albert Square?

I think we should be told.

Get you... Laughing Rolling Eyes

A good follow up to yesterday's episode.

Phils scenes with Courtney were good.Seeing a new side to the Mitchell family is Fab,I can't wait to see Grant Wife.

Kevin and Denise could be that bright new storyline that we need

Courtney and Ben - NO MORE! I cannot take the cringeable acting anymore! Same goes for Carly and many more.

I prefer to see Grant's 'bully' side because its more his character. The Mitchell sneer is brilliant. Although, since he came back, Ross Kemp has effectively been playing two different characters in my view. So long as they keep it consistent.

Well, it seems the tide of tripe continues. I must start by admitting that I've not religiously, as usual, watched this week but from what I have seen that may be something of a blessing!

What do you do when you've suddenly become the 'stud' of a fictional soap, of course with a small child and a slightly dispondent persona? Well, for all the harm man act (yes, including the recent murder, and we'll get onto this in a second, of a certain brother) we this week see Grant become depressed. We are seriously led to beleive that the increasingly annoying child he drags up is the root of this. Of course, your daughter calling you a murderer isn't enough for these savy EE script writers, oh no. We are instead led to believe 'butter melter' Jane is the new love of a lifetime (and not simply a quick shag!). The emotional, rediculas drivel served this week really has got me wondering, is there something in the water.

Speaking of liquid, the alcoholic variety, we see Jake 'Boss' Moon now back at the e20/Scarlets/What ever it is and apparently fully recovered from the accidental murder of his Brother. Somehow I wondered if this one has been thought out again.

Speaking of thought out, or more pleasingly strung out, Ben remains for another week. Yippeee! You'll excuse my excitement if he never appeared again. For a boy allegedly part deaf he doesn't half seem to hear alot. Unfortantly, he seems to have most of these moments on camera. I am aware, as I've previously mentioned, that he is a child actor but the lack-luster, lute warm examples of am-dram he exhibits is truely awful. Whould anyone really care if he'd not have returned when he run away?

Speaking of running away Dr Oliver, bearing a striking resemblence of Jack Nickolls "Here's Jonny" character, continues to fill Casonvas shoes, this week rejecting the down troden, 'salt of the earth' mo. Yawn. For christs sake, does this visous (and boring) triangle of trio-storys need to continue? With a bill recently delayed in Parliament to allow assisted suiside someone really ought to help these story lines out, permantly.

Overall, another appauling week. The same story lines continue, the dreadful whines of 'Family', 'Jiimmmm!' and 'Mo!' continue but for anyone, like me, now reviewing the book shelves I do have a suggestion -
" A short history of tractors in Ukrainian". I'd certainly make more sense.

I take it Ross Kemp won't be returning after his stint? If he is I really do hope they actual have a storyline for him the next time he returns!

I really can't see which direction Enders is now going as nothing at all is happening. Let's hope Nasty Nick comes back with his "Ma" and firebombs the Vic! Burn Ben Burn! Wink

Bravo! Cheers Have you stuck that post on the Points Of View messageboard? (Matrix)

And indeed it is trash like this that gets awarded a BAFTA for best Contiunity Drama... WELL STONE ME SOBER! Twisted Evil

EastEnders has long gone in my view. I say it time and time again, its a tragic shame that it has been ruined in recent years by such a poor scriptwriting team who clearly cannot be bothered to keep the show consistent and who clearly believe that all their viewers only have half a brain cell and won't be clever enough to work out what is going on.

Its no wonder that many of the cast are deciding to leave.

Can somebody who works in production please tell the simple people at Elstree to buck their ideas up or leave. This is getting pathetic!

Ross Kemp is treating EastEnders as a money-earner between Ultimate Force Rolling Eyes - according to his interview on The Paul O'Grady Show a few weeks back.

I mean, what do they do to trying a lure characters back?...

Production: "Hi Ross how do you fancy returning to Eastenders?"

Ross: "Oh no, thanks for the offer but I'm working on other projects..and Ultimate Force as well as hanging about with the Beckhams on the odd occasion, no I couldn't possibly.."

Production: "Well, we've got a good storyline coming up that involves Grant...it would be good if you came back?"

Ross: "No, I really can't...to tied up"

Production: "Ross we're desperate! Forget the storyline, just think, primetime BBC1 again? good wage for ya?"

Ross: "Well, as long as Grant can wear his leather jacket again? and I must have my chauffeur driven car to the studio every day? Oh not to mention... the special bourbons I adore with my Earl grey?"

Production: "Yes Ross whatever you say Ross, we're waiting for you..."

(sorry I've gone off on one..like Greggles talking about Pasquale on Price is Right Laughing )

Sounds like an idea...

Agree completely with your sentiments. Appaluing story lines. Appauling writer, what more can be said. Other than, possibly, BAFTA? Are they drinking the same water to?

Yes, there was a programme on C4 about the 100 most popular websearches. "wearenotafraid.com" was number 100, and there you were with a post-it note on your bonce.

And very handsome you looked.

I would have smiled, but it was a dentists waiting room and I didn't have much to smile about.
