So it was never decided when she first entered? I thought that they had decided to take the character in this direction before she had even made her first appearance.
Don't think so,I believe she was just bought in to be just "Another woman" for Phil
So you don't actually know for sure?

He's wrong. She was signed up for a year and is expected to be making a dramatic exit at Christmas, so EE are going to play with this storyline for quite w while. It was decided that Stella was to become evil when she first joined. Banks - they don't just decide a change in a character's plot weeks after they join. They spend at least a year or two planning, you know...

I think that will be reaction of most viewer's. Like I said, his abscene won't be noticed and most people wouldn't care if he never came back.

Thanks Jonathan. That's what I thought. It would be ridiculous for a new EP to come in and decide that a character will suddenly become a child abuser.

Exactly. He should have gone the same way as his pointless brother, Juley Smith (who certainly wasn't named after Julia Smith)

Just reading on DS, they said Jake Wood (Who is he?) was on Breakfast last week and said that the downstairs of the Vic would be getting a makeover. Also they said that Adam Woodyatt said that the Mitchells and Beales lifes will be changed forever when something big happens.
Not sure how true this all is, but it involves Stella and her evil ways.

TBH, I think a good proper, all round explosion would breathe some life back into this soap

But if Stella is contracted until December, then surely she cannot cause the explosion? Unless she gets away with it?
I have a feeling that an explosion will happen on the day of Phil and Stellas wedding. Maybe Ian has to save Phils life or something, gosh i cant wait!
