BAFTA stuff tonight with Marco the decorator.
Jusy WHY has Barbara Windsor become such a joke in Eastenders recently?

Yeah, and the Ant Farm on Corrie was Oscar performance.

Why do people keep bringing up that Ant Farm? Are you so short of examples that that is the only thing you can think of?

Just to be clear, that Ant Farm scene had more wit than EastEnders has had in the past year.

I didn't watch tonight. I watched a recording of Grey's Anatomy and then Life on Mars. Now that's quality.

I didn't quite get why Dawn did not announce to everyone why Dawn's being her baby. I take it it will all be strung out on another pointless episode in a few days/weeks then?

Eastenders is awful pointless at the minute. I still say River City here in Scotland is better. wouldn't be hard mind you...

I totally agree! The infamous "Ant Farm" story that only appeared in about one or two scenes in Corrie (as a bit of fun) yet EastEnders is like watching a bloody ant farm every episode.

On that note, why is it being decorated? It looked ok as it was.

I loved the BBC1 CA spoof on Dead Ringers last night in which the announcer introduced EastEnders and plugged a storyline about Dawn, Stella & May and then added.... who ARE these people! Laughing

EastEnders got 9million last night according to Media Guardian. I guess thats a small increase.

I dont think its ever going to get 10million or more again.

The Stacy/Max affair is starting to grate on me now for some reason.

The only storyline I'm bothered about at the moment is the Ben/ Stella storyline. Hopefully this will go on for quite a while Very Happy

No thats too sweeping, it is a good storyline, i just feel it should be wraped up now. Its like they are trying to bleed it and it takes up too much of the episodes recently.

Do you mean on an hourly basis? Because EastEnders are normally getting 10 million
