I guess its always easier to dislike something then like it. Its just like society in general, we tend to see the bad first. But thats a whole different discussion Razz

Oh, is any of you voting EastEnders in the British Soap Awards? I have voted - for Hollyoaks. For me they were the best soap of last year. If Stellas up next year ill vote for her. I know shes up this year, but she hasent done anything villanious yet.

Must you really ask?

Same here. I also voted for James Sutton as Best Actor. I voted for Corrie's Sue Cleaver in the Best Actress category.

Which begs the question - why did EastEnders put her name forward? One can only assume that something happens between now and by the time voting closes.

But we are seeing signs that something is going to happen. This is the only storyline that I'm enjoying at the moment, if only for Stella who - I must confess - I do love, and Ben's awful acting which never fails to amuse me.

The Wicks are as dull as ever of course, as is Stacey and Max - or Stax as they're calling it over at DS. Rolling Eyes

Stella :
You probably already know but she burns Ben's hand this week. I guess things will only get worse.

More Stella:
Apparently she's going to end up getting her kicks out of watching the little brat suffer - mentally and physically. EastEnders are going for a full-blown child cruelty storyline in connection with the NSPCC, apparently.

Banksoriginal, if you look back to earlier posts, I actually DID enjoy this show a lot right up until 2002 when Louise Berridge made her grand entrance. Since then, it has just got gradually worse. Call me sad, but I actually still watch because I am a loyal fan, who will watch right until the end.

Over to tonights episode, and without causing offence, what total bullocks. Stacey dressing up as Jane Eyre was NOT funny, Comic Relief night in the Queen Vic just goes to prove even further how right-on this show is, and the bit at the end was just disgusting and pathetic. Why didn't Ben scream? And why on earth did Tanya believe Stella? Can't she see by just looking at her that she's a few pennies short of a pound? The only consolation was the end credits.

The helpline at the end aswell. Was that to ring incase you were affected by the storyline, or because you were affected by Honey's stupid hair style?

Well you are clearly affected by watching EastEnders, may i suggest watching something else? Keep up to date with the synopsis and when it does get better in your eyes - then watch it again?

No, ok fair enough. I'm off to watch Fame Acadamy now, i dont like it - i did however watch the first series so i guess ill have to watch this series as its for charity and then be so quick to flood in here i end up getting my head stuck spewing out how much i hated it.

Then again maybe not, each to there own.

If Stella placing a hot spoon onto the Milk Bar Kid's hand has affected you in anyway please call the BBC Actionline number now!

At last a storyline I'm going to enjoy! Twisted Evil

I believe its mostly mental and a bit of physical. Should be taken for granted it won't be that graphic for early evening viewing, but bearing in mind in the real world that much worse things can and do happen, most of this plotline will probably seem tame in comparison.

So... there we go. Great episode tonight.

I missed it - after last night's average episode I decided to watch a DVD so I'll have to catch up on TV on demand because it actually sounds quite good (well the Stella stuff anyway).
