Wow this threads getting sad,Calling people "Banks" just because they like EastEnders and not Corrie
A bunch of you on this forum may not like EastEnders but that doesn't mean anyone else can't,Loads of People don't like Corrie and i'm one of them but i don't come in the thread every episode to slag it off for the fun of it,Why? Because i don't watch it.
The fact that People are still watching it "Out of Habit" proves you still like it,You don't watch a show out of habit unless you have no life ofcourse

I might as well confess all now...
- I hate The Simpsons, never understood why its so popular
- I hate Dr Who, same reason as above
- I loved Brookside. Never watched Hollyoaks regulary till last year, and its one of the best moved ive made, although i now miss the ITV Evening News
- Hands up , EastEnders is not top notch, why am i defending it, because i feel sorry for the show.
- Coronation Street, all round good but there is far to much comedy in it. I suppose they can do that because of the good drama. Also what ever happend to Angela Harris?
- Oh i do watch Corrie and EE, but have stopped watching Emmerdale, i lost of the plot with it
One more thing, David - [B]YOU[B] think EastEnders is bad, not me. (Well loads of people think its bad, but i am still entitiled to an opinion.
Of course I think it's bad. I wasn't talking on your behalf for goodness sake.
I'm not having a go at you for liking the show. Fair enough. We're all entitled to our opinions. I just think that it's annoying that you have to attack everybody's opinion and say we're jumping on the bandwagon. That's hardly respecting our view is it?
And I find it slightly laughable that you feel sorry for the show. They got themselves into this mess (well Louise did). I'm just shocked that it's taking so long to get out of it.
And I still watch Banks because despite all of its flaws, I remain fiercely loyal towards it. I continue to yearn for the good old days when we had strong female characters and fantastic plots and just brilliant writing. The two handers were always brilliant to watch and it has produced so many classic moments. I haven't watched it all these years to give up on it now. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop criticising it because right now (and of course IMO onetrickpony) the show is bad.
This Wicks storyline is so intriguing. And even this is starting to form another love triangle. It must be what, 43rd in the last year? Dawn/May Rob. My goodness! Back in 1994, I thought the Sharongate storyline was good, but this storyline will become a Steven Spielberg movie in about 10 years time. So well written, well acted, well directed. Stella/Ben. Ben told Abi, and now Stella doesn't like Ben. Will they or won't they make up? I better get some sleep tonight EastEnders, otherwise your dead!

I actually thought tonights episode was a lot better then Fridays. Stella on the stairs talking to Ben was very freaky, i think this could be one of those storylines that will either put a nail in the coffin, or get back its viewers.

Sadly Luke its a common thing with Prime Minister,He spends his evening on Wikipedia claiming people have died or making sarcastic posts about shows he hates yet continues to watch

true - i just don't get the attraction of watching something i dislike.
the thing is he probably does like it - but pretends to find it a snooze in order to come across all comical on this thread.
