God this has to be the worst episode of EastEnders for quite some time.

Who the hell wrote this?

I enjoyed tonights episode, it was different to the "norm" that we have come use too seeing. There was a meaningful presence behind it all.

Really poor episode tonight.

What was that bus crash all about? Some random member of the public dies in it (gives me flashbacks to Jack the war hero)

Carly makes a fool of herself and has to get changed. Excitement city Rolling Eyes

Mo and Charlie have a game of darts and Mo gets a dart thrown up her arse. Wowwwwwwww Rolling Eyes

Pat and Deano play a board game. Deano starts acting in his usual annoying p**** manner when he can't answer a question about a 1953 film Rolling Eyes

And, oh yeah, Kevin acted a bit strange. As per usual.

No extended theme at the end ... what! A whole hour of 'emotional trauma' and no emotional sad theme, and an extended credits theme!! Laughing

My Family we're actually questioning why EastEnders don't do 1 hour Episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays rather then the half an hour episodes because it goes better.

I did Enjoy tonight's episode even Kevin turned up acting wise,Mo Getting a Dart thrown into her arse was FANTASTIC and Charlie asking Phil to do the honours Laughing Laughing

I guess you lot wont be happy until you hear...

"BBC axes EastEnders"

I could easily jump on the bandwagon that EE is bad, blah blah blah. I am glad they did something different tonight, an hour too long maybe, but either way i enjoyed it.

Now everyones entitled to their own opinions so please don't single me out as some troll just because i said i enjoyed the episode tonight. Paranoid - yes, Hopes for a job on EE one day - Maybe

Also Saw this in the sun yesterday..

EASTENDERS’ Dr Legg is coming out of retirement.
The GP — played by Leonard Fenton, 80, between 1985 and 1997 — could return later this year, show boss Diederick Santer revealed. He said: “Dr Legg was well-loved. I hope to get him back for at least one episode.”

So you'd rather it wasn't on at all? Confused

I'll be happy when EastEnders improves. I'm not jumping on any bandwagon, the show is bad right now. That's my opinion. You thought it was good, I thought it was bad. No big deal.

I just thought it was an odd, surreal, yet still mind-numbingly boring episode. I'm all for breaking from the norm if it's entertaining, and involves regular characters. Who the hell cares about Jed for goodness sake? That scene where Kevin found the bus crash was just weird.

And Mo getting a dart in her arse was not fantastic.

It should have been on for 30minutes. I could see the meaning of Jed and the bus crash, but once he died i thought we just wasted 30 minutes on nothing, that said using a scenario like that to make Kevin realise just how important family are to go back was good.

I guess true EastEnders style is for a person to reappear, not have these scenes like tonight.

The editing, or directing could have been a little better, but put all that aside i found it good. So more the second half.

Technically, I thought the editing of 'Kevin's section' was extremely poor. It lacked any definate kind of 'style' other than a half arsed attempt. The shots of Kevin on the beach were frankly laughable in their execution (shingles still making noise when Kevin ain't moving - anyone?)

Urgh! It was just another one of those stock episodes which attempts to pan a story. Frankly, I couldn't care less about the whole Wick's storyline anymore. It seems that stupid.

It now borders on the extreme of reality and we've not even touched on the whole Dawn/Rob/May saga...

That - as the fat guy would say - is a story for another time.
