So tonights extravaganza in full.

Phil told Ben off. And if tomorrow's episode opens with Phil apologising to Ben, I vow never to watch this show again. Denise tells Chelsea and Squiggle they're leaving Walford (can only be a good thing). Pat told Phil they didn't have any money, then went celebrating down the Vic. Yolande reminded the viewers that Jay and Bert will be leaving her home. And, er, that's it....

No mention of Bloody Big Mo's piles then? Shocking!

How would an extra episode help the show to recover?

More characters, more storylines, more opportunities...

EastEnders would have to increase its production crew & team by 50% to cope with the demand of what is asked. The BBC would give them extra funding in order to get the best team going. This means they would have a much larger team than what is currently in place.

It could kill the soap but it could more then likely save it

OK, you've just copied and pasted that from somebody else's post in Digital Spy (don't even try and tell me you're the same person because the posting styles are so different it's untrue).

The thing about the characters - we had an influx of new characters last year and hey, look at that, the show is worse than it was in 2005 when it was actually showing signs of improvement. Well, there you go.

Yes i know its not me but its a valid point/post that i agree with,Even though i'd hate EE going 5 nights a week.

Maybe this is what the bbc are thinking about

I can hardly believe EastEnders' biggest fan can't even come up with his own ideas for improvement.

Copying and pasting off the atrocious Digital Spy has really shown you up to be a fool.

Can't we think of anything other than extra episodes of soaps & bloody reality tv to put on?

Bring back some decent quiz shows of the ilk you now see rerunning on Challenge TV!

Another brilliant episode.

Tanya knocks on the door of the cubicle where Max and Stacey are having it off, because the other toilet is being used. Well from what I saw darling, the door was open Rolling Eyes I must say though, I am enjoying this highly original, well written, Oscar award winning acted storyline Rolling Eyes

Phil says sorry to Ben for shouting at him. What did I say in last night's post? I did say I'd switch off if it happened, but for some strange reason, I can't draw myself away from this crap. And Stella coming back right at the end makes herself look an even bigger fool

Denise/Chelsea/Libby - oh how I so wanted to throw my slipper at the telly when I realised they were staying Evil or Very Mad

Pancake day - Last Tuesday Valentines Day, this Tuesday Shrove Tuesday. Next Tuesday, 27th February. Ben/Ian/Phil (when did they become friends) have a pancake tossing competition. Ian and Phil drop their pancake, but you'll never guess what - Ben catches his!

Sean made his first appearance in about 9 weeks. Who's gonna crawl out of that black hole next eh - Gus??!!

And finally - Jay and Ian's son break into Pauline's old place. Ian finds his son (such a great character I can't even remember his name), and pulls a 'shocked' face when he sees him.

Just one question though - why do EastEnders like to portray their men as gormless, feckless morons? Just asking
