how did he land on a stall. Did Pauleen have one in her back yard or front garden?

Surely the whole exit of Pauline (including the amazingly well acted fall) deserve the title of worst storyline ever .

Forget Dot's loss of faith, forget Martin's cannabis growth; even forget Lisa's 'Who shot Phil' baby-gate. Oh no, we have actually just witnessed a storyline where the main character keels over and without a second mention pales into soap history.

I am actually fairly p*ssed off with the whole set-up. So much could have been conveyed through the exit of Pauline. It's all 'could haves' though. Instead, I'm sat here, watching Bert 'Best mate Bert' not even acknowledge his friends death and Joe (surely non-character of the year nominee) dead.

It's almost as if the whole storyline was added later...

Don't think it'll be long before Dot (June Brown) leaves - she's in disagreement over storylines...

How old they going to make Dot on her next birthday then? 62? Rolling Eyes Pat's been 62 for over 5 years now.

I knew as soon as i saw this news being denied there would only be one person to post it up,I was right Cool The sun always make nonsense about EastEnders to sell papers.

I'm liking the Rob/Dawn/May storyline, I think they're taking their time with it, well lets face it, a pregnancy is 9 months. The key to this I think is not to have it in every episode, focus and then put it in the background for a while.

It's definitely one of those 'who cares anymore?' storylines. If we have to put up with this for another 8 months then I might as well stop watching now.

HA! Says the walking press-release man himself.

I'm sure if it had been good news then you would have posted it yourself.

You're turning into the Fox News of this forum.

I've seen more plausible storylines in an episode of Zena Warrior Princess.

The show ended last night with a shot of "wife" looking out of window to see "husband" and "scrubber" having a kiss. If there was anything remotely touching reality left in the show then "husband" would be thrown out on his ear.

But instead this tryst will run endlessly, and become purely frustrating to watch.

One minute we see Deano and his sister throwing "mother" into the street, the next he goes drinking with her and all is well.

Its garbage, young man. Garbage.

And its all the fault of the writers and executive producer.

Quite right too. Charlie and Lola are much better than Eastenders and that's saying something coz my kids torture me with CBeeb's constantly.

I am becoming increasingly fed up of this show. Infact, I'm even starting to watch the regional programmes on ITV1 more and more nowadays.

The writing's shoddy, the acting's woeful, the continuity's cringeworthy and diabolical (Joe's death anyone?), the plots are crap (Dawn/Rob/May - who gives a f**k?), and it's also losing familiar faces more and more by the day.

I used to enjoy this show up until 2002. Then Louise Berridge turned up, ruined EVERYTHING, and hasn't picked itself up since.
