Everytime I tune in, I see Fartin getting Rebecca out of bed and running with her across the square. I'm surprised he doesn't slip and fall and bump his head and die.

Would anyone else agree that EE should be laid to rest and replaced with the soap opera that came before it?

I certainly have sympathies with your arguement. Personally, I'd like to see it reduced on BBC One with only three episodes and a 'special' one for BBC Three. Well, they do love spin-offs..

Seriously though, I feel it's a question of quality and not quantity. The storylines over the last few months and years have become predictable, stale and frankly comic in places -cough* Johnny Allen/Ruby *cough.

Anyway, we're now left in a situation where "Fartin" (Love it!) and Double Decker are leaving for Manchester. Great, but won't the story have been so much better if she'd just not returned at all. The Joe interlude was hilarous and yet, I suppose, it was meant to be serious.

Come on EastEnders, sort out or sort down.

Arrow It was such a sad ending last night for the penultamate showdown and final of Sonia's departure - will be an even emotional episode this evening and I really do hope they do play Julia's Theme as the show ends. Does Martin leave with her and Rebecca then? Is that confirmed? Crying or Very sad

Arrow It looks like Kevin has now left now as he was holding his Passport at the end of last night's episode - and what about Carly and Deano - do they leave too? - another sad/emotional end to a storyline that has been building up for some time now....

Arrow That Ben, he's a little monster!!!!! I found it funny that he called Stella 'Smella' last night - that's his best line so far!

RadioTimes goes on about a "happy endng" tonight. So maybe Fartin does die after all Twisted Evil or like I said they all bugger off up North never to be seen again. As for Kevin, I don't think he's left for good. And as for Ben aka the Milky Bar Kid..... OH MY GOD! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!

They should not use Julia's theme ever again unless Ian Beale leaves and we see a scene of Ian packing his suitcase looking at a photo of Pauline.

Well... they did get Julia's Theme... now I know I said last night's ending was sad... this evening's really was such a sad ending- does anyone have a clip of it? (last 1 minute or so) - Shame the contunity announcer had to spoil the closing titles with trailing a BBC show and speaking!

They've just had a breaking news report on BBC News 24. Something about a happy ending on EastEnders.

I love Julia's theme! Wink

Why loathe to jump on what bandwagon? Its crap, end of. The scriptdoodlers really don't give a damn - I don't understand why people still continue watch this tripe regularly.
