Nice To know your still watching nok32uk Wink

Oh do shut up, I'm certainly not a "regular" viewer anymore.

liked the way they did the scenes on the Viaduct with Martin, Phil and Ben. Good camera work and CGI with the train passing and the 'view' of the tracks when Martin was left alone, is that the first time they've done scenes up there.

I'm surprised they allowed Charlie Jones to film up there, aren't child actors disallowed from doing stunts.

Yes, but he certainly isn't - by any stretch of the imagination - an actor.

ok I'll rephrase that, I didn't think children would be allowed on pretend plywood viaducts which are as fake as their acting Wink

is that better.

I agree his acting is a bit false but I find most soap children act too young. he's meant to be ten yet he sounds like he's graduated from reception class

The bridge structure is no less secure than when any of the actors have to appear in an upstairs window on the back lot.

A stunt has to be more than just standing in a place.

I haven't seen the show for weeks so I don't know if there was any "action" or not.

Let me get this clear...the bridge is not real nor was the view of the tracks? So what were we actually seeing?

Its "real" in that it is probably made of brick, stone, metal and plywood. It certainly doesn't have trains travelling on it, so its unlikely it has tracks. If you saw a close up then its probably been filmed on a real track somewhere.

Oh what a joke tonight's episode was... 1) Eastenders seem to have forgotten that Joe has fallen out of a window and we were led to think he had died at the end of Friday's show. No follow up on this storyline... 2) The ridiculous ending...Nok32Uk I'll leave you to sum this one up... Rolling Eyes

You've summed it up already. I didn't actually see tonight's episode but I'm certainly not surprised if the slurry is still being pumped out....or in. I dream of the day when this soap gets a huge revamp - i.e. Emmerdale plane crash idea. That said, the piss poor scriptdoodlers probably wouldn't pull that off correctly.... in fact, I know they wouldn't.

here's a link to areal photos of the set showing the viaduct which despite being fake does actually go towards the station set

I guess what we saw was some near by tracks with the albert square view pasted on with CGI
