Finally, I feel EastEnders is starting to turn the corner.

I don't know if any of you have heard but Tracy Ann Oberman (Chrissie Watts) has signed a new contract until April 2006. (Its on Digital Spy) and apparently there is a big showdown in the Vic between Chrissie and Peggy, when Mrs Mitchell returns to the Square. Sounds good!

Other good storylines coming up: -

Andy and Den die next week! Hurrah!

Sonia and Martin will fight for custody of baby Chloe, after her adoptive parents die in a car crash.

The Ferreiras will leave in March. It is speculated the family leave following the news that their dad (crappy Elvis impersonater) has died in India.

Unconfirmed: Phil and Grant will return in September, with Sharon making a comeback in July and Dennis making his return in June. Don't know how true this is but it has been widely mentioned on media websites.

Peggy returns in early Summer...can't wait!

And apparently Michelle Ryan (Zoe) is in negotiations with John Yorke and EE production team, to stay on board with the soap. Don't know what's happening with Kim Medcalf (Sam) or Gillian Taylsforth (Kathy)

There have also been rumours that Billy, Stacey, Charlie and Derek are up for the axe by the end of the year. I hope they do get shown the door, their characters are awful.

Phil Mitchell to return.

BBC just announced Phil Mitchell to return in Spring. Should spice things up a bit.

Thank god Phils returning, the show needs him back. I also hope that Derek leaves, is he just there to have a gay character so that the show reamins as PC as possible. I am also looking forward to Peggy returning and I am absolutely chuffed to bits that Tracy Ann Oberman is staying. I think she's brilliant!

Absolutely fantastic episode tonight, did anybody else think that tonights episode was better than Corries episode. Chrissie was once again fantastic, and when the episode ended, for the first time I actually thought it went too quickly, not too slow. Brilliant! I'm now hooked and I just can't wait for the 20th Anniversary episodes! Very Happy And did anybody else see Sams trailer! I CAN'T WAIT! Very Happy Sorry... Embarassed

Tonight appeared to have the hand of a Tony Yorke re-edit about it.

Even given the closing line to Den about the "accident", please remember that we've heard nothing yet from Zoe herself about whether she actually went ahead with the procedure.

Of course we haven't, but she most likely did. The TV listings magazines are saying that Chrissie and Sam need to get Zoe involved in their plan (after Sam and Chrissie come to blows, of course) but Zoe doesn't want to know. So Sam blackmails Zoe saying she'll threaten to tell Zoe's family about the abortion if she doesn't get involved. So, it looks like Zoe did go through with it. She'll probably tell the family that she had a miscarriage.

OK, i know that Sam, Zoe and Chrissie are all hotly tipped to be suspects of Den's murder. By I feel it could be anybody. EastEnders bosses did state a couple of weeks ago that the WHOLE of Albert Square would have reason to kill Den. Come on, it could be anyone. Yes, it probably will be either Sam, Zoe or Chrissie but you have other suspects such as Pauline, Alfie, Kat, Spencer, The Moon Brothers, Johnny Allen, Sharon, Dennis etc.

That's a good point. You know, the girls could just have an argument and leave. Then somebody, like Alfie could be waiting upstairs for Den. Now that would be good, and so unpredictable as well. Well, we can always hope.

I would love it to be Sharon or Dennis myself. Unlikely though.

However, no one gets done for it as conveniently, Chrissie calls for a cement mixer to cover a floor in the Vic!
