Phil phones Grant after being threatened by Johnny with a gun. Phil flees the square to join Grant in Brazil, only for Grant to return 2 weeks later to protect mum Peggy and finally sort out Johnny and somehow Danny Moon gets caught in the crossfire and ends up... killed off! Danny Moon returns apparently in February to help out Jake who is in a spot of trouble. Johnny discovers the truth in the New Year about Phil's involvement with Ruby and Juley and isn't best pleased. Johnny, after a few harsh words from Phil, threatens to kill Phil unless he leaves the square.

That can't be right, surely.

So who's funeral does everyone attend in the episide on Monday 9th January, then?

Looks like Dennis' funeral although they could surprise us.

Yes the funeral is Dennis's in January, but according to the tabloids, Danny Moon returns and is to be killed off at Easter alongside Johnny Allen.

Tonight saw some great acting from Natalie Cassidy and James Alexandrou. Cringeworthy but cute was Alfie's 'America Box.'

I Like Martin hes a very good and underused actor i think he should be given a wider roll in the soap

Well tonight I really thought Johnny was out of order for the way he treated Ruby and Sharon. Roll on Grant's return to sort this loser out once and for all. And he's about to get even worse in the New Year when Phil, according to the official BBC spoilers, fears for the safety of his family after Johnny threatens to kill him and Peggy if he doesn't leave Watford... enter Grant Smile

I would have thought the BBC would have done a "Who Shot Johnny" type ending, he's managed to piss off most people on the Square to date. My money is on Dot LOL! Laughing

Johnny has only been in the thing for five minutes - why they killing him off so soon? Is Mr. Murray fed up?

Here in BBC Prime land, we have ninety minutes of Christmas Enders coming up tonight. (We are a few days behind you guys.......) Last night was Alfie and Kat at the Races! Didn't Kat look posh! And also, Sonia and Martin wailing at each other, with little Becca turning up at the last minute.

I agree with the correspondent above - James Alexandrou, who plays Martin Fowler, has turned in some excellent scenes and acting in recent months. He is blossomign into a fine young actor.

Nearly missed tonight's episode.

I should think a lot of people will be tuning into The Bill or Supernanny not realising.
