I was initially a bit underwhelmed by the exit of Nana. Thought they would have gone and made a real cliff hanging Dot and Ethel-esque kind of exit.

However, on reflection, it was truly different, and Hilda Braid played it well. It wasn't the best I'd seen from Shane Richie as Alfie, but it was ok.

Up until that point it was good. It was the pathetic and cringe-worthy response to this that ruined it for me. Shane Richie was truly dreadful IMO.

I am not the biggest fan of Shane Ritchie by any stretch of the imagination but I felt he was let down by the scriptwriters on this occasion - silence would have been far more effective than the lines he was made to come out with as (to me) it didn't seem natural. Having said that, soaps are hardly the best outlet for naturalism are they!

No, I'm not grateful at all. Spoilers should be covered up as the sub name of this thread once stated. Keep it to yourself, or add a link of something.

Also, the word b **ch has been used many, many times by EE recently.
