Well it looks as though Phil Mitchell is about to flee the square for his life in January, when Johnny Allen discovers the truth about Phil paying Julie to sleep with his daughter Ruby. Apprently, Johnny makes bold threats to kill Peggy, so Phil decides to do a runner with Sharon who is also being threatened by the evil Johnny. Then, soon after Grant returns after a distress call from Peggy, with only one aim - to sort out Johnny for threaning Phil and his beloved mum Peggy. I can confirm Grant will return with quite a grudge against Johnny when he returns...

Yeah Steve 03, I know you mean well, but many people don't like spoilers. Hopefully you can edit your post to cover up the spoilers.
On tonights episode, I found it highly enjoyable, and really enjoying Jessie Wallace's recent performance. I do find this constant storyline with Juley and Ruby quite tiring though, I hope they hurry it along a bit.

Oh come on, the man is a Joke with a capital J. He's so cheesy and robbed Hilda Braid of an ending which she thoroughly deserved to be her own.

I meant it was a shame that Shane's crying played out over the Julia's theme version of the EE theme, which when heard is always nice.
No reflection on his acting ability whatsoever...

I think you will find its quite tricky to write dialogue in soap operas if only one actor is allowed to be on screen.
For the record I thought the scenes with Alfie and his Nana were very tender and heartfelt. I had no difficulty understanding why he found it such an emotional scene as an actor.
I thought the pair of them did the scenes justice, and it was a very nice send-off for Hilda.

I disagree. Shane Richie was abysmal.
