I disagree,I don't know what Kate has done but this time last year that storyline would seem boring and not funny,But tonight and monday I've really liked what i've liked,Ok its not gripping but is everystoryline? It was like an Episode from Corrie and Emmerdale that people like

I really can't imagine why you would find any part of it amusing; although I suppose you might be having one of those "eppies" you speak so much of.

The worst 'actress' on the square atm has got to Naimo. She's beyond wooden... The Juley thing was quite upsetting to watch actually. Another thing, how come Eastenders hevn't yet included several aspects of day to day life. Firstly, racism. Secondly, has there ever been a family of far east origin on the soap? I was just thinking, because they've had Indian, Afro-Carribean but when could we expect a Chinese family perhaps?

I was going to ask if the actress who plays Honey was the daughter of Una Stubbs, she does look like her. Shocked

Brookside used to have a Chinese family (or at least, characters) years ago.

I think after the crescendo of the Chrissie Watts storyline, and the excellent Nana Moon Remembrance episode, all our expectations have been high and, sadly, nothing can keep up with those excellent storylines.

I think that's why it all appears a bit dismal and boring nowadays, and somewhat inane.

But, isn't that continually true of all the soaps though, for the last 20 years or so?

Agree with the comments above - can't really get to grips with the Juley fellow. He seems a bit lost.

And does Tracy from the pub ever get her name into the end credits? She is on it every day of every week, but doesn't get the opportunity to ever utter a word, not even when Samantha Mitchell banged her on the head with something a few weeks back.

I think there are restrictions on how much she can say in the saop, I watched a programme a while ago featuring her, I think it was Eastenders Revealed. She seems to 'save up' for ages, then one episode she can't stop speaking.
