Ian loses the Vic as it was never Chrisse's to sell in the first place.

Indeed.

It goes to Sharon, as Den's closest relative, who isn't guilty of a crime. Sharon then sells it to the Mitchells, according to the BBC press releases.

Don't you just love soapland?

Loved the giant "Hummer" car suddenly appearing from thin air. One would be tempted to say it was another of soapland's mysteries...

Anyway the hot beverages await. Ta ta.

I love the way Chrissie was hiding with Jake at the Moon's then decides to flee walking proudly across the square knowing the Mitchells are after her.

There were one or two continuity problems like that, still, tonight, weren't there?

In general terms, though, it's a lot better for that sort of thing of late.

The storylines maybe improving but EastEnders has given up with continuity issues Rolling Eyes

Well EastEnders came full circle this evening with a number of storylines coming to an end. I note that Pat gets a letter in the post regarding Janine's forthcoming court case next week, so no doubt our Frank will be back soon.

Looking forward to tomorrow's Enders, I think it's going to be a weepie!

Is Janine going to appear in the soap briefly for her trial?

Nope.

I am glad they're acknowledging the trial though - it just seemed to have been conveniently forgotten about for a while, especially with Alfie and co moving into the Evans house which for some reason was now totally empty.

The last 3 weeks of EE have been excelent - way ahead of Corrie. However - now the one sole storyline that has kept it afloat has ended I think the show will fall back into it's old sh*tty ways again.

Unusual kind of EE episode tonight, going back in time

VERY different EastEnders tonight. Nana Moon is visiting her husband's grave in Normandy and they're doing flashbacks. Didn't know what I was watching for about 5 minutes there!

Nice breakdown just before EE tonight. System threw a wobbler and held on the start of the African ident for a while before kicking in with the anno apologising and introducing EE. Ident runs (until end?) and then black for an age before crashing into the programme at the end of the titles.

Bet the announcer was thinking "I'm introducing this programme but God knows if it's going to start!"
