Does BBC3 still repeat EE later in the evening? When the channel was first launched, I enjoyed watching the next day's episode, as they did this to encourage viewers to tune to BBC3.

Please tell me Sharon and Grant won't eventually get back together? That would be so stupid. Johnny got exactly what he deserved but sorry to see Tina go - liked her character (eventually!) Shock, horror no Peggy in tonight's ep. She's back tomorrow.

Eastenders, Where does one start?

I'm quite enjoying (although plodding along as opposed to racing) the current storylines, although there are certain aspects which are starting to "rub my back".
Johnie Allen and Tina, well for the first time I though Tina deserved her cheque today, she worked really well and appeared rather effective, however the on-screen bint of a relationship between the two not some much changed from "car crash tv" to Motorway pile-up with attending fire crews. Utterly annoying. Which neatly leads onto another goat.
Nigel Harman has won numerous awards but apart from a pretty face this evening underlined one crucial aspect - how turdgid his character is. I found myself woundering if he were actually a 14 year old hormonially craved boy who'd been kidnapped and held hostage on set. Where does this "if you wanna' get back at them you'll need help" storyline come from? other than the utter desperation of a script writer singing for their dinner and a script editor been to affraid or willing to reject some utter crap been passed I can't think.

Sharon, however has yet again proved she's more than just a member of the Muppets (I'll let you interupt that two ways). I've always found her a good actress and tonight the handling of the abortion/ previous love story was done amazingly well IMO. I really could understand and relate to the situation.

But moving from reality back to the utterlu bizarre. Ruby.
Now if you happen to be in another room I dare say a number of you would question whether a curry is really worth it and for those who endure the ordeal, just what is the this? I'm frankly disappointed at the way this has unfolded and Jessie Wallace is far better than the cliched "Leave 'Er!" drivel been force fed to her.

And finally, Popcies, as a few of you have mentioned there is one very apparent absence from our screens tonight and certainly missed, if only for the sheer (thats a joke in itself) comedy, Peggy. I hate to say it but she really does make the soap go, without me checking the clock.

Yes, Eastenders has said it wants to 'move away from gangsta' storylines'

I am gutted that Tina has left. I wished they'd brought her out a bit more, we never really knew her very well. Sorry, I sound as if a friend has just died...
