I think Johnny Allen is great, and I am so glad that Danny has gone. Far too much over acting!

Jake is coming back again isn't he? I hope so, he's much better looking then Phil Mitchell! LOL Cool

Tonight's episode is being done with a wobbly hand-hend camera technique.

I thought perhaps it was for one scene, but we've just had it in the cafe, the laundrette and Dot's house.

It's making me feel sick.

Oh no wait, that's Leticia Dean's over-acting.

I noticed that too. Very odd. It's probably someone trying to be trendy. And failing.

Yes, that was very noticeable, and I immediately thought of The Bill as this sort of camera technique is normal, but it does not suit EastEnders at all.

No, it didn't work. And Sharon is so awful she defies belief.

A nice note of humour among the dross though:

Dot, complaining about not being able to get the smell of smoke out of her kitchen, while waving a cigarette about. Clever...

Just seen the news that Gretchen Franklin (who played Ethel Skinner) has died aged 94.

That is sad news.

That is upsetting, but I'm sure she died peacefully. I expect June Brown will be very upset by this news.

At last, a good line on Eastenders:

Dennis feels under Sharon's chin.

Sharon: What're you doing?
Dennis: Checking for lobotomy scars.

Well that would be an odd place for her scar, wouldn't it?

He was holding her by the chin and tilting her head to see if there was a gash under her Miss Piggy wig.

Little Mo is doing my nut in with her twitching and hunchback stoop every time she tells a fib. Surely someone in her family would spot it by now.
