I have the full length "Julia's Theme" lying around somewhere...

When it was last used (after Sonia dumped Jamie) they played the (newer) Julia's Theme build-up in full and uninterrupted!

Anyone record that?

It's the 'newer' Julia's theme I'm looking for. Anyone have that?

I sometimes wish there'd be a special - like maybe with Pauline, Pat and the longer serving member of the cast (NOT BARBARA F***ING WINDSOR) like where they reflect, have barnies etc and the full Julia's theme is played - not the end titles overlayed. The entire Julia's theme!

They have had some reflecting eps before (Dot and Ethel from 1987? one being) so it could work!

Oh well..

And does anyone else know why Barbara (darlin') i so frigging popular? She's OK in small doses but for God's sake, they treat her like their biggest asset (and she treats them to hers) and, at the end of the day, she is a washed up old hasbeen who couldn't act if her life depended on it. She made her money from her tits - not her acting skills!

That would be a fantastic idea, probably for the 20th anniversary. Either a combination of Pauline and Ian/Pauline and Dot/Pauline and Pat/Pauline and Sharon/Ian and Sharon or bring back some old characters to help the celebrations (Michelle, Nigel and Carol are the top three characters I'd like to see return). And the FULL end theme would be nice too in the original credit style, no ECPs - it is a special drama event so can it not have dispensation!

Because the producers have an idea that the public actually LIKE the Mitchell family and since most of the Beales/Fowlers left the show, they hogged centre stage, a few years ago it seemed like almost every character was related to the Mitchells and they always had the central storyline. I hate them all (except Billy, he's sound, funny and a fantastic actor), I think that the new Sam will probably get her marching orders soon, not that she's done much anyway to help the story along!

I wonder if the original actress who played Peggy Mitchell (Jo Warne) has a voodoo doll effigy of Barbara Windsor Smile

I heard sometime in 2000 that Michelle was meant to be coming back in 2002 - we're five months in and I ain't heard a peep out of Susan Tully! Rolling Eyes

It seems to me that practically every character is releated to Lou Beale somehow.

She's directing Casualty , or is it Holby at the moment... and last time I saw her on TV Sue had her hair dyed blonde!

Well there's always Christmas, hope she brings Vicki and little Mark along for the journey too.

And what was that rumour about Grant Mitchell you mentioned on another forum Conrad? Wink

While we're on the subject of themes, mp3s, and EastEnders! Here's something I found on the local EE newsgroup I'm subscribed to... Some true EE freaks have gone out of their way to make a campaign single to help free L'il Mo! It's been played once on TalkSprt, and their aiming to release it in the charts! Laughing They also wanna base their singles around an EastEnders concept - well, if you've got it flaunt it mate!

This is Little Mo (Let Her Go!) - at least it rhymes!
Hmm, shame there are no lyrics with it!

It's 2 minutes of sheer unofficial EastEnders fanaticship!

Anyway, no amtter what anyone says about the current EastEnders theme tune, in 2 months time it will be the longest running one.
1985: 8 years, 3 months (Deb 1985-May 1993)
1993 Jazzy: 11 months (May 1993- April 1994)
1994: 8 years, 1 month (April 1994- May 2002 continuing)
