Who would've thought that simple little verse would be so popularly versatile in coming years! Yes, I'm talking about EastEnders, and it's title music / theme, or whatever you want to call it!
So far, we've heard about 4 to 5 variants and rearrangements of it, and now we've all tasted what might be the theme of the future thanks to the Bianca and Ricky spin-off this week (which is the same week that Jazzy version theme launched 9 years ago - ok, shutting up!). So let's hear your votes! Your favourite Simon May renditions please...
Grrrr, the polls don't seem to be working again. Anyway, I love the jazzy theme, it's my favourite so far. Although I do like the current version which is used.

The original from 1985 - no contest. When the 1993 version was abandoned I was disappointed with the slight remix that continues to this day.
It somehow doesn't have the same atmosphere as the original.
So many good TV themes are disappearing now - look at what they've done to the Casualty theme tune - aargh !
Gary:
"Yeah that Julia's theme is really good! I wish it was available with the theme tune mixed into it. It sounds weird on TV, but I like it nevertheless."
I have the full length "Julia's Theme" lying around somewhere...
When it was last used (after Sonia dumped Jamie) they played the (newer) Julia's Theme build-up in full and uninterrupted!
