The BBC are only going by audience demand. 20 million people watched one EE episode this year - that's 1/3 of the country. More than any other show so when you bring in the other proportion of the country who don't watch, why don't you say what they do watch. It's not one single programme as the ratings show, it's a variety of programmes on a variety of different channels - and these have low ratings in comparison. So that's why they are bringing in another episode - for the majority of tv watchers at that specific time which prefers to watch EE.

I know my tone in this might be a little harsh but I do get sick of people who complain about this sort of thing when so many people get enjoyment out of ONE single programme.

Also, if the alternative was better for everyone and everyone would like it, maybe there wouldn't be a fourth episode anyway!
