EastEnders Extra Episode

I'm thrilled that EastEnders will be shown 4 times a week from Friday 10th August onwards.

On the site it says: 'Episodes will be shown at 8pm.' I presume this means that they'll be shown at 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and the 7:30pm slot will become vacant. Can anyone confirm this?

No, 8pm on Mondays and Fridays and 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Well it will be on 8pm so it isnt showen at the same time as corrie

But the first week it is scheduled at the same time as there is an Emmerdale special at 7pm for an hour. I bet EastEnders wins!

When EE is shown on a Friday night, it will be shown alongside Coronation Street which is at 8pm due to Emmerdale being an hour long.

The schedule is:

7pm EastEnders - It's your party
8pm EastEnders
8.30 Alaistair McGowen EastEnders Special

EastEnders - It's your party is a special hour show which is presented by Jonathan Ross which brings back old and new stars which have something to do with Pat,Pauline,Ian,Sharon or Peggy.

So, it's 2 hours of EastEnders really, and I agree, EE will win the ratings!

Well at least it'll be something worth coming home to on Friday nights (wey-hey!). I was so when I saw the Sharon trail last Thurs before 6pm news - I heard it was going to go 4x in autumn; but TV never ceases to amaze me!!!

TOTP will move back to the old Thurs 7pm slot as far as the RT website informs, but that could just be a one-off though. EE IS GREAT! I LUV IT!!!

Anyway, you are right about one thing - at least there'll be some decent stuff to watch on Friday nights, although I do enjoy an episode of Only Fools And Horses

Oh great, TWO HOURS of EastEnders-related programming on Friday week. Great news for the 45 million of us who couldn't care less about it.

So how long before a fifth episode a week? And how long before they put something decent on? I expect the former will come before the latter.
