Now, this has been bugging me for some time so I want your views on this. Tell me if I am wrong or not....

Lisa shoots Phil. Phil finds out. Phil forgives Lisa. Phil sets up Dan! Dan goes to prison!

Later.....Lisa runs away with Baby. Phil tracks down Lisa. Phil comes back with baby, no Lisa! Lisa is missing, has Phil killed Lisa?

Now, kate comes into Eastenders as an undercover cop to find out if Phil really did kill Lisa or not. So, after many months of getting to know him (and falling in love with him) she sits down, wired up with a mic so that the other cops outside hear him, and waits for his confessions.

Now this is where it cuts to the scene in Portugal (I think it was) where Phil is convincing Lisa to hand over Louise. In this clip (which is how he tells the story to Kate), he talks about how she's not fit to be a mother after it was HER that shot him and NOT Dan!!

Now, square this up for me. Did Kate pull the wire before or AFTER he said this. If it was before then fine. But if it was AFTER then surely the cops outside now know that Lisa tried to kill Phil and that Dan was set up! WHY are Lisa and Phil not in prison now? hmmmm!

Someone help me on this one please!

People on this forum really annoy me. No, really.
If something doesn't go their way, exactly how they want it to happen; then it's either fixed or biased or whatever. EastEnders won those awards because Shane Ritchie is a good Actor, Jessie Wallace is a good actress. It's the most popular soap. That's just the way it is.
Some people really need to grow up.

"In your opinion"

My opinion is that Eastenders has been failing the last year or so and repeating the same boring storylines over and over with Lisa, Phil and shootings etc. It has only become watchable again since Dirty Den came back.

In my opinion Shane Richie is more of a presenter rather than an actor and tried his hand at acting in Night and Day which was VERY wooden. When he first appeared in Eastenders he was exactly the same and because you might see him four times a week - the brain accepts this as normal - whereas I only now catch Eastenders a few times and am still able to see Shane's bad acting.

The same was also VERY similar for Barbara Windsor.

In my opinion Coronation Street has had a very strong year in comparison to Eastenders where maybe the Richard Hillman story finished at the wrong time for the awards ceremony and people voted wholly on the last big storyline of Dirty Den reappearing.

The vote is by the general public and i dont dispute the fact that Eastenders won, but, I just thought (and assumed) that the general public would have voted for Corrie rather than Eastenders this year. But it appears that the Kat and Alfie love story has captured the viewers and hence they voted for them in most categories!

Simple as that really!
