Absolutely stunning episode tonight. The no theme over the credits bar a ticking clock was a tribute to her.

The Red Button special was very good too. Some nice "get out of my pub" tributes from Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, Dragons' Den and more.

Brining back Pat was a fantastic idea, especially the "You bitch!/You cow!/My friend. My dear friend."

She'll be missed.

Oh, I thought that was to heighten the tension over the race to return the stolen toilets Wink

That bloom effect was a bit naff, but I've never been a big fan of the soapy soaps (as opposed to your Holbies and your Hollyoakses) dipping out of reality anyway.

Would that have been a drone shot at the end or a big crane? Looked just drifty enough to be a drone.

Yeah it was a drone shot with the Underground train superimposed on afterwards.

It was all explained on the Last Orders special on BBC iPlayer/Red Button afterwards.

Well anyone who knows EE knows the LUL doesn't run near Borehamwood!

Time to remind ourselves of Peggy Mitchell's first appearance (i think) in EastEnders:

A much nicer musical segue at the end of tonight's episode, rather than the usual crash into the regular theme tune.

A shame they had to put the Action Line promo over the credits rather than at the end of the credits.

They managed it on Tuesday's episode with a holding slide at the end after the credits. They should've really done that tonight too.

Tuesday there was no theme tune over the end credits so it made no difference really.

You can listen to it on iPlayer without the V/O if you really want
