Tonight's episode was dedicated in her memory, as per other fellow deceased actors/actresses in the past few years.

The setup was launched last December.

EastEnders has had that endcap for at least the last month.

Not as cringe-inducing as the usual shoe-horned in mentions of live events.

I wonder if this was filmed today or a while back with boy/girl variants?

Presumably today as it seemed to tie in with the storyline on today's episode.

Dennis really knows how to live up to his name doesn't he? Breaking windows, he's just like Dennis the Menace! Even has the American one's hair.

Gillian Wright to leave.

Executive Producer, Lorraine Newman, also to leave.

EastEnders in the doldrums? Hardly anything written on here about it either.

Emmerdale getting better ratings, according to some tabloids.

Quite surprising, even when they're scraping the barrel with recycled storylines.

This is the turning point that EastEnders needs to bring it back on track. I think a cull of writers is needed to. Shame our Jean is going though, it's the bland younger cast they need to chip away at especially Tamwar and Dexter! So much wood from two boys (and not in a good way)

It's been so long since I've watched EastEnders that I didn't know Bryan Kirkwood had left. Executive Producers on EE don't last long do they.

Nice long helicopter shot flying over the "o2 Millennium Experience Dome" to give it it's full incorrect title.

This helicopter also featured on air, but it was painted to look like an Air Ambulance and probably wasn't the same one that was used to take the pictures.

Nice to see them doing something different. First helicopter shots used on EastEnders? On any British soap?
