It's strange, this time 10 years ago, I was loving EastEnders. I was a major obsessive
but the show has changed, I have changed and that is it. I find it sad that it lost it's way but I'll watch the LIVE remembering the past - which is ironically what the show is doing in many of it's storylines!
Pretty much the same - back in the nineties it was head and shoulders above the other soaps, but it then remained stuck in a rutt and I gave up watching regularly around 2003, with the last episode I watched being the awful murder of Dirty Den (I'm guessing to mark 20 or 21 years).
And from what I've seen so far it's still it's badly written poorly shouted stuff!
Just under an hour to go before the live EastEnders episode! The entire credibility of EastEnders rests on this episode and if it goes badly it could distroy it's reputation and will be confined to the stocks.
