I think Archie is getting a little bit boring now........ Also the whole thing with Ian and Jane is just a bit weird- anybody else think the same?

its not weird its just i don't quite know where they are going with it? it's all a bit like they're filling time until christmas comes.

Well the Archie stuff comes to a climax at Christmas. As with Ian and Jane, not sure where it's leading, although I'd imagine either Ian will cave in and adopt a child, or she will change her mind.

Maybe this has been answered before, but can anyone confirm if Aunt Sal's fire-eating act was using a double, or did the actress actually do it herself? I dipped-into today's omnibus edition here and found this in full flow.

(Probably the most surreal thing I have seen occur on EE yet. I am sure if I'd known the whole story, it wouldn't have been quite as unreal. LOL.................)

Aunt Sal kicked up a fuss as they were all waiting long for their dinner and told the others not to pay ( if memory serves me right ). Then she found out why they were doing the christmas meal for everyone and then she did the entertainment for them.

The episodes yesterday we're really good. The who killed Archie story I'm not that fussed about, but I've enjoyed this week and i think it shows in the ratings. There is me thinking Doctor Who would win the day yesterday...

Good start to the year for EastEnders. Would be nice for them to keep it up as it seems to be firing on all cylinders at the moment.

I see the Hollyoaks style openings have started to appear, for a moment i wasn't sure which programme i was watching!

Awful. I hope this doesn't become a regular thing - they used one at Christmas as well.

Excuse my stupidity but what is a Hollyoaks opening?! I don't watch either programmes often but am intrigued to hear what Eastenders have adopted.
