didn't realise the park in Walford was so close to Albert Square, In tonight's episode, when Denise meets Lucas in the park, for a very brief second (on iplayer at 12:40) you can see the top of the viaduct and part of the R&R sunburst
Bearing in mind of course a "real life community" wouldn't have its own police station like that, probably be halfway across London in reality, not literally round the corner.

Was tonights the first episode to air on BBC2?
No. On the occasions where the Sunday omnibus is split for whatever reason, it's usually split in such a fashion that the end of the first "half" is the end of an episode, which means BBC Two or BBC One can just run the Friday episode again. So technically it's not the first and it won't be the last EastEnders episode to air on BBC Two.
As for weekday premières; EastEnders has aired on BBC Two before, usually when something's going on on BBC One that'll gather bigger ratings, but it's not the first time and it probably won't be the last. ITV1 moves heaven and earth where possible not to disrupt Emmerdale and Coronation Street. BBC One hands its entire schedule to BBC Two.

This might surprise you to learn but actors and actresses do work on more than one programme and thanks to this marvellous technology called "recording", it's perfectly possible for Mr Lamb to appear on EastEnders AND Gavin and Stacey in the space of one night.
More extreme examples include the same actor on two different channels at the same time. John Wayne quite frequently appears on two, three, maybe four film channels at the same time, and he's been dead since 1979. Michael Jackson died three weeks ago and ended up on pretty much every music channel going.
Actually I'll stop here because I get a feeling sarcasm is going to be wasted in this situation.

I wouldn't say it was rude. Strong, maybe. Direct and to the point, yes. Sarcastic, well I admitted as much. The other follow-up contributor called you an idiot which if it were me I'd have taken more offence at that than the material I wrote. I've read much worse and as far as I'm concerned you get what you give. Considering you supplied a badly punctuated piece of "gossip" that we'd all heard seven months ago, presented it as new material and then gave the impression that you couldn't comprehend Larry Lamb being in two programmes on TV at the same time, I think you got off lightly.
