The Danielle death episode was shown here on BBC Prime last night. Although I was already aware of the outcome, the performance of the actors involved was incredible and therefore made for compulsive viewing. Especially great performances from Sam Janus, Larry Lamb, Danielle (sorry - not sure of the actor's name) and even a sterling performance from Babs.
Lacey Turner and Charlie Brooks were also sterling.
For first time in a long time, I was glued to the screen.

In the UK snow can reasonably be expected anywhere between October and April, most commonly January and February. Snowfall is possible and has happened in June before, rare an event as it actually is. Bearing in mind Walford events tend on occasion to lose all grip of reality, seeing snow in Walford in our June probably isn't totally to be unexpected in a world that revolves around one square, where washing machines are apparently banned in private homes and the mortality rate is much higher than the national average.

then again I've got photos of snow dated 25th April so it's quite possible

that it true, like all soaps it's a Dr Who type paralelle universe where 2 bed terrace houses can accommodate the entire cast of Ben Hur and children regularly regenerate at the first sign of puberty
and cars are only present when a character needs to drive it
so I guess snow is the least of their worries, unless Bobby Beal builds a snowman who comes to life one night and flys him to the North Pole via Brighton

Nice to see the asthma scenes shot in the style of Sir Digby Chicken Caesar in tonights episode.

I thought that tonights episode was quite good. Heather falling over and phil's flirting were particularly funny. It was also good to see Tracy get a bit more involved-usually she just nods when asked if she'll be ok on her own but she got the most lines she's had in a very long time. Lucy is just a bitch now-what is the point in her?

Is it me or has Phil become particularly annoying lately?
