I stumbled across this forum by accident after doing a Googlesearch on News At Ten! Surprised

I quite like it here! Very Happy

I found the whole storyline far-fetched. It was like something from an American horror film.

It would have been better if Tanya had left him there. Digging him back up and reversing the process made the whole storyline totally pointless.

Many things happen in soap for the heck of it. In fact quite a lot of the flow can be interpreted as pointless. Such as the common EastEnders thing of buying a pint, having two sips and then leaving the pub to do some totally mundane thing that could wait until the following morning.

Possibly the most embarrasing YouTube video I've seen all year. What a waste of money.

I see that this is a "hi-res" video on Youtube. First one I have seen since the news that 640 x 480 is now the "preferred size" of clip.

Yup, it's been like that since a couple of weeks now. They're phasing it in, however not all the videos have the High Quality option clearly visible underneath the player. So the most quickest shortcut is entering '&fmt=18' after the video id in the url bar; and that goes to the HQ MPEG4 H.264 version which it takes about an hour to process after the video has been uploaded. From what I see they've converted older clips as well, finally stereo audio! (20 years behind) Wink

Does that mean clips I uploaded at 512 x 384 might display at that res?

PS: That EastEnders promo is so bad its wonderful.

Basically just upload your best quality and res, but your 512 x 384 video should be fine.

Theres a few promos playing around Birmingham on screens. Features the animating background, with 'Rickeeeeeey' shattering over the screen to reveal the EE logo.
