Well what exactly are you sort of people looking for? I mean this is not Prison Break or other crap American dramas.

Yeah, If only those crap dramas were as brilliantly written and superbly acted as our soaps. The Wire, Six Feet Under and The Sopranos aren't a patch on Hollyoaks, Eastenders & Corronation Street. Rolling Eyes

Only a brain dead Soap fan would call American dramas crap. Rolling Eyes

Earth to JCB - The Wire, Six Feet Under and The Sopranos ARE NOT SOAPS, THEY ARE DRAMAS!

Very good ratings, Corrie only beat EE just by 1% in shares. Good all round (for EE and Corrie) Smile

Did anyone catch the special on BBC3 directly after the main episode?

Yes, despite the title "the Rise and Fall of Stella" it only touched upon her in the last 15 minutes of the programme. It was mainly about all the vixens of the square, Chrissi, Janine, etc

The first half was about Chrissie ,Janine, etc The second half focused on Stella.

Brilliant Ratings for EastEnders and a great peak didn't think it would beat Corrie.Emmerdale's ratings seem to always be in the 6 mill mark.

22:00..845,000...EastEnders (Repeat)
20:30..535,000...EastEnders Vixens: The Rise and Fall of Stella
22:30..540,000...EastEnders Vixens: The Rise and Fall of Stella

OH MY GOD! Fridays episode of EastEnders was the best eeeeeeeever in it's entire history. Bye, bye Stella Crawford. You never became a mitchell and never will become one. It was so exiting to see her die. Shame the brat isn't dead.

Nope I'm still not convinced.

found the final scene with stella on the roof a bit odd in that we see the wedding car from above but there is no sign of Phil's car or the gate he drove through

Don't think it was at all, but it was certainly its best for a while.

Watched Friday and today's episodes. Absolutely terrible, it could have been so much better.

I know how you feel Jonathan, some spinning pink dressed lap dancers and it would have topped it off. Razz
