Janine's wedding
bunting has been up for months so probably left for jubilee episodes and olympic torch relay (which isn't the real thing as you'd never get all the support vehicles down the street., and I doubt the BBC want a massive great coke cola sponsor vehicle trundling past the queen vic
what is the avago finger illusion spoiler in aid of, it's every where?
anyway interesting filming on albert square this week with a big marquee, the screen is blank now so probably secret filming, wonder if it's the olympic flame episode?

It has improved a lot in the last month. Still some odds and ends to deal with and a bit of cast spring cleaning to do though but overall I've been most impressed with Enders of late! Especially with the arrival of Joey Branning!

What about all the other areas of the UK where the support vehicles didn't go? It's the Torch Relay, the support vehicles are there to support, they don't have to follow the torch exactly. They could wait outside Elstree for the torch to go around the square and then continue following it when it comes out again.
Which won't be a problem, as you already said above.
Either way, the live stream could be interesting on that day.

Would they wait while it chucked it down, or come back the next day when someone decided they wanted a reshoot?
I don't see a lot of kudos to be gained from having the real torch on screen, when it's a lot easier to fake it. It doesn't sound like the sort of thing the Olympic people would likely sanction either, really. More likely than Corrie to get it though, I spose.

looked on the torch relay route for July 23rd, when it appears on eastenders, the relay goes from Lewisham to Wandsworth finishing at Tooting Beck Lido car park at 18:47, so nowhere near elstree. Guess it would be hard to time the real relay arriving at the studios exacly in time for the live insert of Billy with the Torch
anybody know how they chose the character to do their relay?

Today he said "Lola glances at her Dad" when she looked at Billy. I believe Billy to be her grandfather, not her father.
The guy doing audio description is calling Diane, Claire throughout tonights episode.

They shot the thing weeks ago, and I posted it here.
It wouldn't make any sense if they had it "as live" in a place that wasn't the East End.

Oh I see. Well it won't enhance the drama's verisimilitude if they run through Borehamwood when they're supposed to be in E17, so it's a stinky idea anyway.

what I read says the runs through albert square in a live segment inserted into footage shot previously
still be interesting to see when it happens
