My Freesat box's "High Quality" iPlayer stream of that episode is video-y (SD though) as usual, not film-y.

This Morning used the 1993 Jazzy version of the theme during a Eastenders VT today!

Major, major spoiler to shock you all. Make sure you're sitting down for this shocking upcoming plot:

Whitney is to find out she's pregnant. But is Tyler the daddy? Shocked

It was nice to see a realistic TV watching scene in tonights episode. An advert for cashuneed.co.uk followed by some crap while everyone in the room was just chatting. This is exactly what people watch and how they watch it in real life. Such a refreshing change from seeing kids watching television programmes that consists entirely of sound effects or people watching programmes that consist entirely of a laughter track. It is rare to actually see what people are watching on television too.

Lowest ratings in the 26 year history of EE, according to the Daily Mail. Plus one of the Moon boys has been "axed".

Wiki, I know not a great source: Ratings reached a new all time low in July 2006 with 5.2 million viewers, followed two days later by only 3.9 million, when it was scheduled against an hour long episode of Emmerdale which attained 9.03 million viewers

How is that possible. It was 5.56m and 5.75m for Monday and Tuesday which is definitely not the lowest. Also the fact its up against BGT means the BBC Three ratings have been up to 1.08m and 1.17m.

Dipping into EE today for the first time in yonks.

Roxy and Alfie doing Punch n Judy.
Dot singing karaoke.
Masood baby-sitting the little redhead and smashing her pink calculator with a big hammer.
Jean giving a big envelope of money to a man to start a gym for the boys down the estate.
Phil threatening people.
Shirley being loud.
Roxy and Alfie getting intimate.
Bianca, Whitney and Carol proving that three generations can go clubbing and get p!ssed on cheap vodka.
The gym man takes Jeans money to Janine instead of giving it to the boys down the estate.

How random is EE!!!!

Poor Jean.

Well I guess I could take several random moments from Corrie, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks and leave out the 'good moments' to make a point of how random it is.
