This was a while ago now but didn't get posted from what I can see:

The names fly by so quickly though it's pretty impossible to read them.

Presume it looked a bit better onscreen when not ripped from iPlayer though.
Think they've done that a few times - first time I remember seeing it was the end of 2007 which ended with a Mike Reid dedication. Can anyone read the second dedication on the 2011 credits? The first is Margaret Tyzack who (thank you Wikipedia) played Janine's grandmother briefly before withdrawing from the role, and died shortly afterwards. Can't make out the second (although it could quite easily be someone from an off-screen role).

Lucy suddely has a mole on her neck she has never had before, I know I'm being pedantic Wink

bit confused with pat's house, her kitchen window is on the side of the building which faces onto the path to victoria street but outside it's a blank wall Confused

A thing I dislike about the set's are that most of the houses have the same layout or pretty much the same layout...Like Patricks/Pats Masoods/Brannings/Dots

Surely that's quite realistic for a street of houses that are all meant to be built to the same design standards?

High demand, high density urban houses from the edwardian period - all look the same on the inside, Raheem!

I didn't think this one through Smile

The second name is Pat Spratt - according to IMDB he or she was a 'props master'.

Someone back tonight

Simon Wicks
Quote:
EastEnders fans will see a shock return for Simon Wicks in tonight's episode, it has emerged.

Simon, played by Nick Berry, makes a one-off appearance following the funeral of his mum Pat Evans, The Sun has revealed.

The special scene, which was only recorded yesterday, will see Simon pay a secret visit to Pat's grave in the dead of night to lay some flowers.

Simon does not attend the actual service as he has been arguing with his half-brother David (Michael French), who returned to Albert Square on New Year's Day to see Pat before she died.

EastEnders bosses are expected to air Simon's scene at the very end of tonight's episode after the credits have rolled.

The news comes after show chiefs promised an "extra special treat" paying tribute to Pat this evening.

Berry played the role of Simon between 1985 and 1990.

EastEnders airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One.

Unless its changed, the credits are normal. The funeral finishes way before the end.

Yes, but just in-case anyone is wondering.

Why keep something under wraps until the day of broadcast, tease people to keep tuned for a surprise and then go and leak it anyway.

Hearing Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline was a bigger surprise for me. I even turned off audio description so I could hear the song properly. I think it should have had a reprise for the credits. It's what Pat would have wanted.

Maybe it wasn't 'officially' leaked and someone saw filming take place, or one of the people who will have known (still a fair number) blabbed?

I agree it would have been brilliant to have gone for the big surprise. Imagine the reaction.
