Somebody needs to tell EastEnders that the Metropolitan Police don't use Sepura Airwave terminals, they use Motorola MTH800s.

Further to this, the DI who arrested Phil's cuffing technique wasn't as per what gets taught in OPST, given that one of the 'extra' purposes to Speedcuffs is to break wrists (not just restrain) you'd think the officer would take more care with them! Also his application of the cuffs left a lot to be desired, you don't open them first, you apply them to the wrist (dead on the join between hand and arm, for one of the pressure points) and push them round until they close, tightening with your free hand, then double lock that one cuff, you apply the second cuff.

It should be advised on at least, it's poor craftsmanship on a programme.

It will only matter when because this is the only training private security gigs get in cuff application and they smash somebody's wrist off...

If someone in the security industry is getting their only training off Eastenders, then there are much bigger concerns than their possibly use of handcuffs.

Its awful, and hardly has the EE tune in it.

Peggy's theme was quite nice.

No this tragic thing that ends the programme tomorrow. Far too weak and its arrangement of the usual tune is well its over before its begun. Julia's theme would have been much better.

But at least its something more than poor Wendy Richard got.
