Well I must admit that was the worst Christmas Day episode I've ever seen! Truly awful, no direction, bad acting and, at times, a tad confusing. As for being the stalker... ZZZ!

I think the current exec producer is absolutely awful and the only reason still there is because for some reason the ratings aren't dipping as much as they perhaps could. It's far worse than 2004 was in my opinion and it went down to 5 million back then! And was in crisis, on the verge of been axed.

Oh don't be so dramatic, it dipped to those levels on a few occasions. Overall it was OK then and is OK now. Granted it has dipped slightly from the highs of late 06 to early 09, but it is still doing good. This year's Christmas episode was one of the worst in many years. Tonight's episode felt like it should have been the Christmas Day episode. You could have mistake last night's for a normal episode on late November.

It is terrible material. You should really look up past episodes.

In your opinion, but making out it was 5million to highlight a point of a bad period is wrong. That year still had many top rated viewing figures. Overall today it is doing OK, not brilliant, but OK.

Going to war with countries for oil is wrong. Not discussing a television programme.

What you mean is I am right and you couldn't think up a good answer so decided to compare it to going to war.

When Zainab lived in Pakistan she had an affair with Masood whilst married to Yusef. When Yusef's family found out about the affair they tried to kill Zainab by setting her on fire. I almost feel embarrassed to know this...

We found out a few weeks back that it was Yusef who set fire to Zainab, Afia's uncle told her when he came to visit, She confronted Yusef and said you tell Zainab or I will so he did, Zainab then forgive him almost instantly

When the fire was put out I was wondering how they were going to blow the place up, Would Masood have really just stayed inside a smoke filled house in the kitchen alone coughing or would he have been outside with the others breathing clean air, I was expecting Yusef to appear from somehwere and get him again

When Yusef grabbed Zainab in the square I was wondering how he would be killed when he was so far away, It was nice of Masood to try and save Yusef after he had just tried to kill him

The final scene with Yusef looking out of the window at Afia was almost as if she is safe I might as well stay here now, then the floor collapsed

Well the only time I watch EastEnders now is at Christmas so wasn't aware of the latest storyline development.

Also, why were the shutters locked during a party? Surely the back would be open for smokers to go outside.

What I found very "television-fied" was when the fire first started in the room it covered EVERYTHING in the but except Masood...

It was very badly written. Lines such as "I don't hate you. I pity you" were so predictable, my family finished the sentence before it was completed. How no one managed to grab Tam as he ran past the crowd, round the square and into the house is ridiculous.

And "I don't understand... the fire brigade should be here by now"...?? Please!!

Also, Pat's 'funny turns' are ridiculous.
