I stopped watching it back in September, forced myself to watch again in October that lasted a week and got back into it two weeks ago. There are so many characters that you just can't warm to in EastEnders at the moment. The nonsense with Syed and Christian and the never ending, dull storyline of the Masoods, Kat & Alfie storylines are dull now and anything relating to Ben makes me want to switch over straight away.
It was great to see a return to some decent storylines/acting in the last week though with Tanya, Max et all. Quite a touching episode on Friday... no BBC Actionline number though I note.
Been a great week for EastEnders. Jo Joyner, Jake Wood and Ann Mitchell have all been fantastic.
but where was the BBC Action Line during all this? Usually someone need only raise their voice and we get a black credit squeeze.
That's a good point. I was surprised that they didn't have one at all last week.

I'm enjoying the Phil stalker storyline at the moment, Lots of suspects and lots of speculation online as to who it may be, Eastenders do these very well
Yet again its going to be another depressing christmas, It would be nice for them 1 year to have a happy 1 just for a change, I can't wait for the Yusef and Zainab storyline to end, Its just not realistic that a doctor can be with Zainab or plotting something 95% of his time when he should be at the surgery, When he is there usually there are no patients, Oh and yet another year with a fire can't they think of something original for once?
How many more times are they going to do the Kat cheats on Alfie thing?, Boring, Alfie deserves better
Has anyone noticed how in most episodes that involve Whitney she is happy 1 minute, then gets sad or annoyed and then by the end is happy again? Please get rid of her character, All she ever thinks about is me me me

I can't wait for the big reveal of Phil's stalker on Christmas day, it's a good storyline which has been researched well.
Me too, the Zainab/Yusef storyline has gone on for far too long and I'll be glad to see the back of it and Yusef as a character.
Agree with you about Kat/Alfie too. The character of Kat has been completely ruined since their return last year, I don't know why they were brought back. They had a lovely ending back in 2005 and a return wasn't needed.

Well, IMO that's a happy "Eastenders" ending compared to the last couple of years...Daniels (spelling mistake) "death" archies "death" ...so on...
I'll be glad when they have got the set HD ready then we will stop having all these storylines which involve the destruction of a building in some way or another
