Was the shots of the outside of the Hospital the Eastenders backlot? I picked up on some very big size doors Laughing

Assuming the doors were the same ones in the wide shot near the start, then that's definately not Elstree

with reference to soap babies is there any reason why only Corry puts the names of baby characters on the end credits, are the parents ashamed their baby is on tv or something

I can see that but for an established character like Tommy Moon you'd think they'd credit the baby(s) who portray him like Corry did with Thomas Ormson or Emma Collinge when they play young David and Rosie, even as babies they were in the credits

notice Corry don't do that anymore so the young baby and toddler playing Hope and Liam are not credited.

A note for viewers ...

Just a warning that this Friday (29th Apr 2011) sees the last BBC THREE / BBC HD 2200 joint repeat of EE.

There'll be NO BBC HD repeat from May 2011 onwards.

The BBC THREE SD showing at 2200 continues unaffected.

Brilliant. I splashed out for a Freeview HD box only a few weeks ago and I am unable to watch EE at the first broadcast. Guess I will have to watch in SD now. Rolling Eyes

Why don't they put a BBC HD repeat at a different time?

Why was the BBC HD showing a simulcast with BBC Three anyway?

BBC HD can operate a different schedule when it wants. I remember Dr Who was on a different time to BBC One on one occasion at least.

Err - the first broadcast is on BBC One and BBC One HD... It's just the 2200 BBC HD repeat that's gone.

BBC HD trialled simulcasting EastEnders with the BBC Three SD repeat - but this meant HD shows scheduled on BBC Two at 2200 weren't simulcast in HD on the BBC HD channel. There's no perfect solution to this until we can simulcast all four channels in HD (plus CBBC and CBeebies I guess).

Maybe it hasn't been updated, but I'm quite sure that I read somewhere that their scheduling in a 4:30pm day after repeat, after Doctors. We'll have to see.
