what I mean was it a real tube carriage brought for the purpose of filming or is it made by the props people

It's a prop that they use. AFAIK it has removable carriage sides which they can take off for filming as a real tube carriage would be too restricted.

I know I ask silly questions sometimes but I don't work in the TV industry so I don't know the tricks of the trade

What has it got to do with EastEnders or me for that matter? I'm sure if The Mirror had done their research and found out that Des Coleman is a presenter for The One Show, the headline would have mentioned that rather than EastEnders. Anyway, this is not the place for celebrity gossip. Keep that to Digital Spy.

(Anyway how often does he appear on the One Show anyway. I've only seen him twice to my knowledge. That Tory prat Brandreth is on more often!)

He used to be a reasonably regular reporter on The One Show - particularly doing inserts on music, and some OBs. Carrie Grant appears to have replaced him in both roles for a while now.

Not sure he's done much since the new editorial and studio presentation team took over.

Jay has probably had more residential addresses in Albert Square since he first arrived in late 2006 than pretty much any other relatively recent character. Will probably have lived everywhere on the square by the time he turns 25.

Whitney's storyline finishes on Red Nose Day Night doesn't it? With a special 10 minute episode during RND.

I've read it ends in April (Baby Swap)

Read on the EastEnders website and I think it's next Friday - Kat asks him to stay. Getting a really tired storyline now.
