The tube station scene at the end of tonight's episode looked like they'd been shot late on and then dropped in. I wonder what they changed about his departure.

And putting my anorak hat on, the District Line serves Walford East but that wasn't a District train, which makes me think that it was a last minute choice of location

I was surprised to see the Tube platform - never seen that before.

Does anyone know what Tube station it was?

And yes, it was the wrong type of train - it looked like a Jubilee line train (however they had tagged on a "the next station is Bow Road" on the PA system in the train at the end).

Someone over on DS said it was a Northern line train at East Finchley:

Wasn't it a Central Line train at Loughton?

It was a Northern Line 1995 Stock train at East Finchley. Although the on train announcement said "This station is Walford East, the next station is Bow Road". Yet the standard sequence is "This station is... This train terminates at...". All that plus the change of signage on the platform to Walford East, you would also believe they would choose a District Line station too.

Tonight has to be quite possibly the weirdest episode of Eastenders I've seen in quite a while.
-The whole episode focused on 1 person - Heather
-Weird camerawork ( I know it's part of the 'effect' but it's just strange!)
-Cutting scenes realy quickly with the same character in

wondered how heather got back through the barriers having got through with no ticket

interesting to focus on one character without it being a one hander episode

saw on the webcam some daytime filming inside the outdoor set of the argie bargie with the frontage covered for an obvious night scene, cheaper than setting up a night shoot for one small area of the lot I guess

I thought the argie bargie was an indoor set

Whilst I appreciate seeing more of the tube train set, it is a shame we can't have more than the one carriage they always use, mainly being the one with the drivers cab in it, surely not every character would sit in the first or last carriage everytime!!

I believe Jay now lives with Phil and Shirley (not forgetting the forgettable Ben).
