Was there a "If you've been affected..." VO on BBC1 SD just now? It seemed conspicuously absent on HD, though they had the BBC Action Line number up.

Plus is BBC One HD always black boxes (not red) when it zooms out the credits?

I think this is only for the Action Line and even then maybe only with the Christmas graphics.

Whatever you may think of the storyline:

Have to say that Jesse Wallace is acting her socks off here - shows that she is actually a very good actress but often not allowed to show that with the usual Kat character.

Although it's The Sun, if it turns out to be true then some people high up at Eastenders have some explaining to do I think. Although if she was that against it surely you'd just refuse to do the scenes?
Ok soaps often do plots like this to raise awarness etc and do it sensitively, but this just screams of doing it to get a few newspaper columns. Tbh if it was just the cot death I don't think people would mind as much, but then they got that bit too far with the baby swap, which just seems insensitive and way too far-fetched even for soapland to me .

sounds simlar to Michael Le Vell threatening to quit Corry if Kevin didn't leave Molly after learning of Sally's cancer

most people think it's step too far and surely Alfie would realise it wasn't his baby even if Kat hadn't seen it

I notice that BBC One Wales used a more usual red BBC One Wales branded box this evening.

As did Scotland. I didn't see what NI did.
